Vertical Gardens in Mallorca

Vertical gardens in Mallorca — design and installation of living wall structures for villas and private estates. S'Estepa Design, Mediterranean landscape studio.

The meticulous selection of tropical plants, based on adaptation, structure, and colors, provided the space with a sensation of freshness, warm colors, and plants suspended in the air.

The project proposal consists of two vertical gardens with different geometric structures, both indoors and outdoors, in combination with the space. Through avant-garde elements, the design aesthetics are focused on a vegetal lattice along the entire exterior facade: beams of light enter the interior space and achieve a jungle light effect.

The vertical garden reduces facade temperature by up to 40%, absorbs sound to improve acoustic quality, and contributes to air purification by trapping dust and converting CO2 into oxygen.

The 3-year timeline gallery documents the mature evolution of the living walls, demonstrating the long-term execution quality, structural vitality, and sustained density of the climbing and suspended vegetation.
